The Stop Online Piracy Act and Protect-IP Act are both well intended. But they are so poorly written and flawed that it promotes a system that avoids due process to censor websites in a clear attempt to “undermine fair competition and create market share for preferred businesses.” We have rights to due process, we have rights to freedom of speech, and we must not let the government take these rights away from us.
